A renovated chalet above Aiguablava bay

Aiguablava is a small cove on the Begur coast, known for its clear water and the pines that grow right down to the rocks. The house stands on Carrer Punta d’es Mut, on the hillside above the bay. It faces east, so the terrace gets the first sun of the day — that’s where the name comes from.

Inside, everything has been renovated: 232 square metres over two floors, with an open-plan living room and kitchen downstairs and all four bedrooms upstairs. The pool and main terrace face the sea, and the beach is 1,300 metres down the hill.

Aiguablava, on the Begur coast

Aiguablava is one of the smaller coves on the Costa Brava: a sand beach, very clear water, and the Camí de Ronda coastal path running along the rocks towards Fornells and Sa Tuna.

The house is on Carrer Punta d’es Mut, in the residential hills above the bay. It’s a quiet street; the beach is two minutes away by car, and Begur town — with its restaurants and Friday market — about ten.
